People like good music. But sometimes you lose the inspiration to look for new sounds. Finding music now is so much different than just 10 years ago. Now everything is only few clicks away, whereas some years ago you would have to search for it, and make a conscious decision to go to a record store, flea market or your personal vinyl dealer. With that said, what still works, and probably always will, is the word of mouth and personal recommendations. We have therefore gathered a small amount of tracks that we appreciate and hope that can inspire you. We were even so inspired that we made an exclusive track to start the mix. We hope you like it.

Quadron, a Danish duo made up of producer Robin Hannibal and singer Coco of Boom Clap Bachelors, specialize in shimmery downtempo with soul and girl-group touches. Their self-titled debut album is being issued in the U.S. March 23 by Plug Research and is available on our Store now. The coy and playful “Pressure”, a highlight from the record, has this Daniel Kragh-Jacobsen-directed video with a teen romance theme.
